Making the journey both rewarding and worry-free.

Every summer, many parents face the same questions:
How can children step beyond the textbook and become more confident speaking English?
How can they visit overseas institutions in person and start thinking about future study pathways earlier?
And how can the trip offer real learning value, rather than becoming another sightseeing tour?
The Woolf · Pickering Institute Overseas Learning Centre Official Study Tour brings all of these experiences together.
Over 14 days in Singapore, students combine English learning, cultural discovery, campus visits, theme parks and a Disney cruise. With a professional tour leader accompanying the group throughout, accommodation, meals, learning and activities are all arranged as part of one complete programme — making the journey both rewarding and worry-free.
Before and after the cruise:Twin-share rooms at Momentus Hotel Alexandra, with roommates assigned by the organiser.
Four days in the middle of the programme:Stay aboard the brand-new Disney Adventure, with accommodation and meals included.
Students stay two to a room throughout the programme, making it easier to look out for one another while providing parents with greater peace of mind.
After arrival and hotel check-in, students begin an immersive exploration of Singapore.
Highlights include:
Merlion Park, the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Gardens by the Bay (Flower Dome + Cloud Forest), Kampong Glam, Little India and Chinatown, followed by the iconic Supertree light show in the evening.
Along the way, students practise spoken English in real-life settings while experiencing Singapore’s multicultural society first-hand.
One of the key highlights of the programme is the opportunity to step into local institutions and experience English-language learning in a real campus environment.
PSB Academy: A 2-hour professional English course, an exclusive welcome lunch with the principal, followed by a course completion ceremony.
Singapore Institute of Management (SIM): A full-day Critical Thinking class conducted in English, designed to develop logical thinking, communication and public-speaking skills.
Dress code reminder: Students must wear the customised Pickering Institute T-shirt for the completion ceremony. Shorts, singlets and slippers are not permitted on campus.

A major highlight of the programme: four days aboard the brand-new Disney Adventure.
Students can explore seven themed areas featuring Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters and stories.
Three meals a day are included onboard. Away from the pressure of the classroom, students can use English naturally in everyday situations while enjoying entertainment, live shows, water activities and the full cruise experience.
Learning continues — just in a much more relaxed environment.
After leaving the cruise, students continue their education-focused journey with visits to:
James Cook University Singapore, Shelton International College, London School of Business and Finance (LSBF), and Curtin Singapore.
The programme also includes educational visits to River Wonders and Night Safari, including the sightseeing tram.
Students then enjoy a full day at Universal Studios Singapore, giving them time to relax and recharge after several days of learning and campus visits.

Students continue with:
A full-day immersive English class at Kaplan Higher Education Academy
A specialised Art in English programme at Raffles College of Higher Education
They will also visit two of Singapore’s leading universities in one day:
National University of Singapore (NUS), including the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
A visit to the Peranakan Museum adds another cultural dimension, giving students a more complete understanding of Singapore’s education system, society and study environment — useful context for future overseas study planning.
After packing in the morning, the group will travel together to Changi Airport for the return flight to Guangzhou.
Students return home with course completion certificates from multiple institutions, new international friendships, greater independence and a much broader view of the world.
Programme note: The organiser reserves the right to adjust the order of activities according to weather conditions and visitor numbers, provided that the overall programme content is not reduced. In the event of force majeure, activities of equivalent value may be substituted.
